Judith Beck, Ph.D., is the director of the Beck Institute for Cognitive Therapy and Research and associate professor of psychology in psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania. Her books include The Beck Diet Solution: Train Your Brain to Think Like a Thin Person and its accompanying workbook and The Complete Beck Diet for Life.


Linda Bacon, Ph.D., a leading expert on weight regulation, is a professor of nutrition at the City College of San Francisco and associate nutritionist at the University of California, Davis.
