Kathryn Rheem & Donald Rheem • Sunday All Day
LOCATION: ROBERTS PDR ROOM
Increasingly, organizations are recognizing the role a therapist can play in helping them change their work culture, repair organizational ruptures, train better managers and leaders, and inspire engagement in the workplace.
This workshop will demonstrate how you can apply your expertise in couples and attachment therapy to a corporate setting as a managerial consultant. Through a case study, you’ll see how to:
- Identify the crucial issues an organizational client needs to address
- Apply adult attachment techniques, social baseline theory, and the emotionally focused couple therapy (EFT) attachment-injury repair model to facilitate transitions in corporate and nonprofit settings
- Explore the practical steps involved in moving from traditional clinical practice into management consulting
Kathryn Rheem, EdD, LMFT, is an ICEEFT certified trainer, supervisor, and therapist. She’s the director of the Washington Baltimore Center for EFT, and conducts EFT trainings internationally.
