Harville Hendrix & Helen Lakelly Hunt • Saturday Morning
location: Capitol room
How many of us have been part of, or observed at close range, a truly healthy and positive marriage or intimate relationship? Most likely, we’re more familiar with the endless distressing facets of dysfunctional relationships than functional ones.
As a result, it’s common to focus on treating dysfunction rather than behaviors and attitudes on which mutually enriching relationship are based. In this workshop that presents a model for creating an ideal relationship, you’ll learn:
- The benefits of changing your emphasis from the negative fallout of childhood wounds to the positive interactions that foster closeness, safety, connection, and joy
- Specific Imago techniques that enhance couples’ mutual curiosity, appreciation of each other, and sense of humor
- The concept of Zero Negativity and its transformative potential in a relationship
