Rubin Naiman • Friday All Day
LOCATION: GOVERNOR’S BOARDROOM
Given the crisis in our healthcare system today, there’s increasing recognition that medical and mental healthcare must overlap. Based on the work of Andrew Weil, this workshop introduces the emerging field of Integrative Mental Health
and reviews what every psychotherapist should know about the body, illness, and healing.
- How to assess and treat core lifestyle issues that impact mental health
- The critical role of nutrients, botanicals, body-mind approaches, and secular spiritual practices in treating anxiety and depression
- Ways of promoting the body’s endogenous capacity to heal through functional medicine, energy medicine, and other alternative healing modalities
This session will continue with workshop 310.
