Career and money worries are among the top concerns for many clients, who often wonder whether to switch careers, seek more fulfilling work, or find ways to improve their satisfaction in their current job. This workshop will teach you three core strategies to guide clients to the decision that best fits them. You’ll learn first how to work with them to identify their interests through a “passion mosaic.” Next we’ll explore how to assist them to develop an “opportunity map” of possibilities that matches their goals. Then you’ll learn how to coach them in key job-hunting skills (job interviews, use of social media, resume writing). We’ll explore the attitudes, anxieties, and personal baggage we and our clients bring to career and money choices, and the influences of upbringing and gender. You’ll leave with techniques and strategies to help clients understand and manage their emotional relationship to both work and money.
