Daniel Leven • Friday Morning
Every therapist has had the experience of listening to clients who return week after week, recycling the same fundamental narrative of their life over and over. Increasingly, we’re discovering that real therapeutic progress can occur quite dramatically when we help clients shift their attention from their habitual stories to their somatic experience and begin to speak from their body’s truths. In this workshop, you’ll learn a method for helping your clients recognize, embody, support, and transform the distress that resists easy verbal expression. You’ll discover a new level of the mind-body connection that brings together the emotional with the “motional,” the psychological with the visceral.
