113 Yoga for Energy

Amy WeintraubAmy Weintraub • Thursday All Day
Ever notice how your energy level ebbs and flows throughout the day and wonder how to get it to flow more and ebb less? This fun, gently active workshop will walk you through easy routines to help you combat fatigue and restore get-up-and-go   throughout the day. You’ll learn breathing practices, yoga postures, and meditations that will help you refresh and increase your energy stores. You’ll explore a variety of practices for your own use, which you can also teach your clients. These include guided imagery to enhance motivation and clarify goals; mantra tones to elevate mood; and yogic meditations to promote mood regulation and a sense of resilience. The focus throughout will be on laughter as a pathway to self-inquiry, balance, and calm.

Amy Weintraub, M.F.A., ERYT500, is the author of Yoga for Depression and Yoga Skills for Therapists. She’s a leader in the field of yoga and mental health, and offers evidence-based yoga certification trainings for mental health professionals.
