Seattle UniversityPsychology The MA in Psychology at Seattle University is based on the existential-phenomenological-therapeutic approach. We offer a broad foundation in psychology, philosophy, and psychopathology. Through engagement with the humanities in relation to psychotherapy and counseling, students come to appreciate the significance of therapeutic attitude and presence. Most fundamentally, we place a strong emphasis on the relational and ethical dimensions of psychotherapy. Our 72-credit program can be completed in two years.
