Dan Siegel, MDDan Siegel, MD is a clinical professor of psychiatry at the UCLA School of Medicine and author of The Developing Mind, a pioneering book about the neurobiology of human emotion and interpersonal connection. He is also the Executive Director of the Mindsight Institute, an educational organization with a scientific focus on nurturing compassion within our society. Dan Siegel has authored a significant number of influential articles, chapters, and textbooks within the field as well.
