In this workshop, a leading business coach and pioneer in the field of building therapy practices will describe what the evidence suggests will be three therapy tracks of the future--insurance driven (as part of the medical system), consumer driven (the client sets the goals and drives the course of treatment), and theory driven (the therapist directs treatment)--and provide a roadmap for negotiating each. You’ll learn what the upsides and downsides of each track are, how best to prepare yourself for each (or a combination of them), and what the business implications are. We’ll explore the role of outcome measurements, marketing, and promotion, as well as how to maintain a strong grounding in professional ethics while building your practice.
