In this workshop, you’ll broaden your skills and enhance your practice by learning how to facilitate groups for couples, based on Susan Johnson’s empirically validated Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT). This method, founded on the principles of attachment theory, provides a framework for understanding couples’ underlying emotional dynamics, and a step-by-step procedure for helping them reconnect and create a deep mutual bond. You’ll learn everything you need to know about running "Hold Me Tight: Conversations for Connection" groups, including overarching theory, substance and format, and how to form and market couples groups.
