In this experiential workshop, we’ll explore a "touch-and-go" mindfulness technique to help you regulate your relationship to whatever a client triggers in you. You’ll learn how to tune in directly to your own experience of the client ("touch") and then subtly move beyond the experience ("go"), a pendulating back-and-forth that allows you to feel resonance and a strong connection with the client without getting lost. We’ll also practice a style of group consultation that lets us better attune to clients’ nonverbal, verbal/relationship, and inner experiences as they unfold in therapy.
