524 Creating a Referral-Generating Website
Saturday Afternoon Only
As more clients use the Internet to seek out private practice therapists, it’s dawned on even cyber-phobic clinicians that they should develop websites. . .
But too many therapist-constructed websites are little more than online brochures. In this workshop, we’ll discuss how to position your website online so your site generates steady referrals to your practice. You’ll learn the key components that should be on your site, as well as how to use meta-tags and Search Engine Optimization so your site shows up near the top of the heap on Google. We’ll discuss using therapist-referral sites, pay-per-click advertising, video marketing, and social networking sites. All topics will be illustrated with live examples of actual sites, and interested participants can have their site reviewed as part of the workshop examples. No matter your level of computer expertise, you’ll leave with comprehensive, effective, and practical steps for making your presence more fully known on the web. Note:
