401 501 Creating a Beautiful Mind Part 1 & Part 2
Saturday All-Day: Two Part
The world exists independent of human thought, but is seen through the lens of the mind and the imagination . . .
In this workshop, we’ll examine the role of the imagination as a central integrative intelligence able to discern the new and complex patterns constantly shifting around us. We’ll look at the way the imagination allows us to create a central leverage point from which to act; one that relies less on engaging the will and more on a way of being in the world that builds upon a rested, alert intelligence with the courage to simplify, to take action, and above all, to envision a life worth living at the center of our endeavors. This workshop is dedicated to the memory of John O’Donohue and is an adaptation of a description he wrote shortly before his death. (This session will continue with Workshop 501.) David Whyte
