Meet the Instructor

Susan Johnson is professor of psychology at the University of Ottawa and director of the Couple and Family Therapy Clinic at the Ottawa Hospital. She's also a research professor at Alliant University in San Diego, California.

Learning Objectives

  1. Formulate key features of the Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy perspective.
  2. Name and construct key EFT interventions.
  3. Outline how the therapeutic process and specific interventions shape and build secure connections.
