More About This Keynote

It was once a scientific given that the brain’s capacities were established in infancy and remained constant throughout life. Now, nearly every day, it seems, new findings about the how the brain actually functions are revamping our understanding of this dynamic organ. Explore the changes that occur in the brain throughout life and learn how psychotherapy can best work in tandem with the brain’s natural developmental course.

Meet the Speaker

Louis Cozolino, Ph.D., a professor of psychology at Pepperdine University, is leader of a new breed of clinicians joining a sophisticated grasp of neuroscience with an appreciation for the nuances of the clinical encounter. He’s the author of The Neuroscience of Psychotherapy, The Neuroscience of Human Relationships, The Making of a Therapist, and The Healthy Aging Brain.
